Dhaka University has published its admission prospectus for the undergraduate program. Through this, all the confusion regarding admission is removed. Place of Admission Test: Admission test of eight Dhaka University will be held simultaneously in eight departmental examination centers. Candidates can choose only one center.

Ubi admission requirements
Admission University has reformed the minimum requirements for their admission test. They increased their minimum GPA score form to the current academic year 2020-2021. Admission requirements for all the units given below: –
For Ka / A unit
- Candidates who have passed SSC / Equivalent Examination from 2015 to 2018 and HSC / Equivalent Examination from Science Group in 2020 can apply for admission.
- Candidates should have a minimum GPA of 3.5 in both SSC and HSC / equivalent examinations and the total GPA should be up to 8.50 (including additional subjects).

For B / B unit
- Candidates who have passed SSC / equivalent examination in 2015 or next year and HSC / equivalent examination from Humanities group in 2020 can apply. Candidates can apply for admission through B unit in case of fulfilling the conditions mentioned in the admission guidelines.
- Candidates should get a minimum GPA of 3.00 in each exam and a total GPA of 8.00 in both the exams.

For G / C unit
- Students who have passed Business Studies / A Level / Diploma in Business Studies / Business Management at Higher Secondary level can apply.
- Those who have passed SSC / Equivalent 2015 and HSC / Equivalent examinations in 2018, can apply.
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 in both SSC and HSC / equivalent examinations. And total GPA should be up to 8.00 (including additional subjects).

For G / D unit
- Students who have passed SSC / equivalent from 2015 to 2018 and HSC (Humanities, Science, Business Education, Agricultural Science) in 2020 can apply.
- Applications will not be accepted if the subject is less than ‘B’ grade (3.00) in any subject in HSC / equivalent examination.
- Students in the humanities group (including the Madrasa Board of Education) must have a minimum GPA of 8.0 in the SSC and HSC examinations (including the fourth subject).
- Candidates in Business Education, Diploma-in-Business Studies, Diploma in Commerce and Business Management groups should have minimum GPA in both SSC and HSC / equivalent examinations (including fourth subject).
- Students in Science, Madrasa Board of Education Science, Agricultural Science and Home Economics group must have minimum GPA in SSC and HSC exams (including fourth subject).

For tea / e unit
- Students who have passed SSC / equivalent examination from 2015 to 2018 and HSC (Humanities, Science, Business Education, Agricultural Science) from 2020 can apply.
- Candidates who have passed HSC / Equivalent Examination in any group can have a minimum GPA of .0.0 in SSC and HSC / Equivalent Examination (including 4th subject), they can apply for admission. However, if you have a GPA of less than 3 at any level (SSC or HSC), you cannot apply.

Distribute new symbols
Existing Dhaka University Admissions Authority changes the distribution of their existing admission marks. They reduce MCQ and CGPA numbers and increase written test numbers. According to the new number distribution, 60 marks for MCQ examination and 40 marks for written examination.

GPA marks
The admission authorities of UB have announced the GPA number of their admission test. According to TV news, the GPA number this year will be number 20. These numbers will be calculated on the basis of the GPA obtained by the applicants in SSC / Equivalent and HSC / Equivalent examinations.
