কারণে Due to the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19), the date of admission test for the 1st year undergraduate / graduate (honors) class of Rajshahi University in the year 2020-2021 has been postponed.
Rajshahi University Admission Test 2020-21
In the 20219-20 academic year, the number of units in the admission test of Rajshahi University was reduced and the admission test system was changed. Moreover, the opportunity to apply for admission for the second time since 2019 has also been closed.
So today we will discuss the details of the new admission method. We will discuss how many units Rajshahi University has, which unit belongs to which faculty, eligibility for application and number of seats.

Final application eligibility
The final applicant for the first year graduation (honors) of Rajshahi University in the academic year 2020-21 has been determined. The final applicant is determined on the basis of HSC or equivalent examination results from the initial applicants. The following is the minimum GPA used to select the required number of applicants for the final application in different branches of each unit in the 1st stage:

The final application will be accepted in 03 stages. The deadline for final application is given below. The selected student of each stage must complete the final application within the stipulated time. Otherwise, the student will no longer have the opportunity to apply.

Rajshahi University Admission Test will be held in three shifts. 15000 admissions can participate in each unit.

Eligibility of application
The lowest GPA was given for the initial application for admission to Rajshahi University 1 year Graduate Honors.
(i) HSC / Equivalent, Diploma-in-Commerce, BFA (Pre), HSC (Vocational), A Level and other equivalent examinations under Bangladesh Technical Education Board, 2020 [এইচএসসি সমমান নির্ধারণ কমিটি কর্তৃক অনুমোদন সাপেক্ষ] Only students who have passed can apply for the admission test. Students who have passed the traditional method and from an open university will not be able to apply. Only BFA (pre) and degree students will be accepted as their results are still in the traditional way, but they will have to have a marksheet / certificate.

| Unit A (Humanities) | Students who have passed the humanities branch can apply only in Unit A. Eligibility to apply for both SSC / Equivalent and HSC / Equivalent examinations (including 4th subject) is to have a total GPA of 6.00 with minimum GPA of 3.00. |
| Unit B (Commerce Department) | Students who have passed the Commerce branch can apply only in Unit B. Eligibility for application is to have a total GPA of 6.50 with a minimum GPA of 3.50 in both SSC / Equivalent and HSC / Equivalent examinations (including 4th subject). |
| C unit (science department) | Students who have passed the science branch can apply only in C unit. Eligibility to apply for both SSC / Equivalent and HSC / Equivalent examinations (including 4th subject) is to have a total GPA of 6.00 with a minimum GPA of 3.50. |
| Must pass GCE O Level Examination in 5 subjects and A Level Examination in at least 2 subjects and get at least B grade in 4 subjects and at least C grade in 3 subjects out of total 6 subjects in both the levels. Applicants who pass O Level, A Level and English Version (National Curriculum) will have their questions translated into English where applicable. Candidates wishing to appear for the English question paper must know by email (ru_admission@ru.ac.bd) by 31st March 2021 along with mentioning their Application ID and Mobile Number. | |

Test method and number distribution
100 number MCQ admission test will be held. Time will be 1 hour. Each unit will have 60 questions. However, it will be informed soon which units will be tested in which subjects.

Besides, the conditions imposed by the unit / department / institute will be applicable. No electronic devices such as mobile phones, headphones, calculators, memory clocks, etc. can be brought during the test.
Unit introduction
The number of units in the admission test of 2019-20 academic year of Rajshahi University has been reduced to 3.
Unit-A: Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Social Sciences: Faculty of Fine Arts, Institute of Education and Research
Unit-B: Faculty of Business Studies and Institute of Business Administration.
Unit-C: Faculty of Science Faculty of Biology and Geology Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Engineering
Merit selection
The written test book of the candidates will be evaluated 10 times the number of seats in each unit based on the merit of the results of MCQ examination. Final results will be published on the basis of MCQ of the concerned candidates (10 times the number of seats) and the result obtained in the written test. Candidates will get the opportunity of admission according to the merit of the final result.

Fee payment system (via rocket)
1) First, dial * 322 #.
2) Select the “Bill Pay” option.
3) Select the “Other” option.
4) “Enter Payer Mobile No.” Enter the candidate’s mobile number instead.
5) Select the “Other” option.
6) Type 377 in place of “Enter Biller ID”.
6) “Enter Bill Number” must be replaced with the Bill Number given on the slip.
8) “Enter Amount” should be replaced with the amount of the total fee paid on the slip.
9) “PIN Number” of Rocket Account should be given in place of “Enter PIN”.
10) Then the payment confirmation SMS will come. Save the transaction id (TnxID) from this SMS.

Physically Handicapped – 50 (maximum 2 in each subject)
Freedom Fighters – 5% of seats per subject
Quota – 5% of seats per subject
BKSP – 20% of seats in Physical Education and Science Department
