GST Admission Results 2021: GST Preliminary Election Results 2020-21

Update news: The results of the preliminary application for the admission test of 20 general and science and technology universities will be published on August 22. Final application starts from 1st September. The final application fee has been increased to Tk 1,200.

Results of GST initial application

The results of the University Integrated Admission Preliminary Application will be released on August 22, 2021, the GST Admissions Committee said in a statement. The deadline for initial application to participate in the Cluster System Admission Test is June 25. The final application will start after the results of the initial application are published.

Only final applicants can download the admission form and participate in the admission test 2020-21. At the time of final application, the candidate will select the center for his / her admission test. Candidate admission test centers and seating arrangements will be published in the order of preference of the candidate and on the basis of other criteria.

List of eligible candidates

A limited number of applicants can take part in the admission test 2020-21. The list of various eligible candidates for Business Studies, Science and Humanities groups will be published. It will shortlist about 150,000 candidates from each unit for the admission test and final admission form.

University Integrated Admission System

In the 2020-2021 academic year, a total of 20 universities will participate in the integrated admission test. Of these, 9 are general universities and 11 are science and technology universities. Only three admission tests will be taken for all the universities. An admission test will be taken for the Science Group, an Admission Test for the Humanities Group and an Admission Test for the Business Studies Group.

Admission test will be held on all university campuses. In other words, all universities will have admission test centers. Students will be able to participate in the admission test at their convenient test center.

No one will pass or fail the admission test. All candidates will be given a score. Universities will accept admissions on the basis of this score.

At the end of the integrated admission test, the universities will issue separate admission notices. Students will be able to apply to the university of their choice. Universities will accept admissions considering the applicant’s score. No separate admission test will be taken for this. The integrated admission test universities are-

Date and schedule of admission test

GST admission test will be held within three days. Admission test will start on June 19, 2021 (postponed). It will end July 3 or 10 (suspended). One day has been kept extra. If the admission test of any other university is held on this day, the admission test of the integrated universities will be taken at a later date. A total of three admission tests will be taken for Science, Humanities and Commerce groups. The date and schedule of GST admission test is given below.

Notice of GST Admission 2020-21

The Notice of GST Admission 2020-21 Published. This integrated admission test will be held for a total of 20 universities. These include general universities and universities of science and technology. Admission test date has already been announced. This admission test will start from 19th June 2021. A total of three admission tests will be taken in this cluster system admission process. A total of 100 marks admission test for Science, Humanities and Business Education (Commerce) will be taken in MCQ system.

Admission application will be accepted in two steps. A short list will be published based on the results of SSC / Equivalent and HSC / Equivalent examinations. Only shortlisted candidates will be able to fill up the final admission form. Candidate has to pay a fee of Rs.500 / – at the time of filling up the final application form. Application fees can be paid through bKash, Rocket, Sure Cash and Nagad.

GST eligibility

Candidates who have passed HSC and equivalent examinations in 2020 or 201 can apply for the integrated admission test of the university. That is, students will have the opportunity to take the admission test for the second time.

After the results of the Integrated Admission Test are released, the universities will decide whether the students have taken the admission test for the second time.

To apply for the GST Admission Test, the applicant must have a minimum GPA of 7.00 for the Science Group, a minimum GPA of 6.50 for the Business Studies (Commerce) Group and a minimum GPA of 6.00 for the Humanities Group. However, SSC and HSC levels will require 3.00 GPA separately.

GST Admission Form 2020-21

For integrated admission test of universities, GST admission form has to be filled in two steps. First you need to make an initial application. A short list based on the results of SSC / Equivalent and HSC / Equivalent examinations will be published from the initial application. After publishing the list of eligible candidates, the final application form has to be filled. Only candidates eligible for the admission test will be able to fill up the final admission form.

Candidates do not have to pay any application fee for filling up the GST Preliminary Application Form. However, at the time of filling up the final application form, the candidate has to pay an application fee of Rs.500.
