Application requirements
After HSC in Bangladesh, a large number of students chose the path of diploma. Before entering the whole application process, we are going to share the requirements. So, check the required qualifications to make sure you are qualified. We are mentioning all the requirements from Polytechnic Admission Circular 2020-21.
For Government Institutions (4 year course)

| Diploma in Engineering | Boy- Those who have passed SSC / equivalent board exam must get at least 3.00 GPA in general / higher mathematics and total 3.50 GPA. Girl- Those who have passed SSC / equivalent board exam must get at least 3.00 GPA in general / higher mathematics and total 3.00 GPA. |
Note: Those who have passed ‘O’ level should get ‘C’ grade in one subject and at least ‘D’ grade in Mathematics and any other two subjects. Students who meet these requirements can apply for a diploma in engineering from all government institutions.
Private Institution (4 year course)

How to apply online at btebadmission.gov.bd
As it turns out, some students are having trouble applying online. Yes, this year the whole application process for Diploma in Engineering is going to be held online. We have shared an overall application process since the BTED notification was published. In this post, we are going to focus exclusively on the application process of Engineering Diploma.

- First you have to go to the official website of BTED (Bangladesh Technical Education Board) – btebadmission.gov.bd.
- You will then receive a list of courses you wish to enroll in.
- Click on the name of the course – in this case, you have to click on the green button Diploma in Engineering.
- You will find some additional information related to this course.
- To start the application process, click the Apply Now button.
- Complete the form with the required information and complete the entire application process by providing all the legal information.
Picture- Applicants must submit a recent color photograph in JPEG format. The resolution is 150px x 120px and the size must be less than 50 kb.

Application Fee: To apply for polytechnic admission online, the applicant has to pay Rs 160 through an online payment gateway.
Confirmation fee: You must pay a fee to confirm admission.
